From Caldaro to Fennberg
Starting point is the wine village of Caldaro (Cornaiano-Caldaro 10 minutes). Take the forest tracks via St. Anton and Altenburg to Graun. The tour will take you from Graun for a short way on tarred road to Fennberg. There take the forest track from Fennberg further to Hirschbrunn. Here you will have the opportunity for a side trip to the wonderful lake Fennberg. After lunch break you will bike towards Magreid-Entiklar over a steep forest path (way no. 3 and 3a). Then bike along the the way no. 7 from Entiklar towards Cortaccia. Take WK-Termeno trail towards Termeno and bike over a steep mountain track via Söll to Altenburg and back to the starting point at Caldaro. This tour reveals impressive views on to the southern South Tyrol and is always a must if you’re looking for a challenge.
